Region environment day

For World Environment Day we celebrated International Year of the soil with lots of fun activities at Kooronga.  Girls aged 5-9 made mud pies, planted pea seedlings in a recycled coffee cup, made mud hand prints, decorated home made watering cans with a secret recipe of natural fertilizer, learnt about composting and giggled with excitement as the played with worms. The girls had a great time getting dirty.
